Day services

The objective of the Day Services initiative is to provide developmental day services for people with a disability through partnerships between the department and non-government service providers. These services include:

History of the Day Services Initiative:

In 2007-08 $1.15 million in recurrent and one-off funding was allocated to 5 non-government service providers to increase service delivery in the following locations:

In 2006-07 $4 million was allocated to funded non-government service providers to provide services in the following locations throughout Queensland:
