New funding programs

Transitional Recovery Program

Funding will be available to non-government service providers to deliver a short-to-medium term residential recovery support program for individuals with moderate to severe mental illness and medium-to-high support needs. Transitional Recovery Program (PDF 203 kB).

Peer Operated Crisis and Respite Services

This program will provide short-term supported accommodation for individuals in need of respite or who are in emergency or crisis situations.

Resident Recovery Program

The Resident Recovery Program will provide recovery-based lifestyle support to people with a moderate-to-severe mental illness, for whom living in a boarding house or hostel is not conducive to their recovery. Resident Recovery Program (PDF 233 kB).

Correctional Facilities Transitional Program

This program aims to support people for up to six months post release from a correctional facility and will help individuals access health and mental health services, accommodation, employment and social support services. Correctional Facilities Transitional Program (PDF 270 kB).
