Jade Roberts Hi, my name is Jade Roberts and I suffer from cerebral palsy.
My birth was a struggle. I was very weak and it was a fight to be born. Being a very weak baby and stressed at birth, I stopped breathing for 10 minutes, but was finally revived. I weighed 2095 grams and spent the first week of my life in intensive care.
My life was a challenge right from the moment I was born.
The severity of my cerebral palsy is high. All of my muscles are affected and I need assistance with most tasks. I use a computer with my nose and a track ball mouse. I'd be lost without my computer! It's my hands, my communication, and my access to the outside world.
Despite all my challenges I face in my life, I am now married to my husband Rick and have a beautiful little girl, Amber Grace.
