Supporting service providers

Throughout the implementation of the Disability Sector Quality System, service providers have been supported in many ways to develop and implement their quality management system. The quality system project team has used a developmental approach to build capacity and increase capability across the sector.

Over the implementation period, support has been provided to service providers including:

• specialised tools and resources
• specialised workshops and forums
• financial assistance
• support from community resource officers and NDS Queensland
• access to learning and organisational development suppliers.
