Certification

Certification is part of the fifth step in the implementation cycle. Service providers choose from a range of independent certification bodies. They also decide when to seek certification within a set period of time.

Services receiving Disability Services Queensland recurrent funding must achieve and maintain certification through an accredited certification body.

Once certified, services undergo yearly maintenance visits to track continuous internal improvements. Every three years, the service must be recertified within the Disability Sector Quality System.

Certified service providers provides a current list of certified service providers within the Disability Sector Quality System.
