Service user sampling support for service providers
A resource is being developed to provide information on service user sampling. It will support service providers in identifying their role in the service user sampling process and what they should consider when working with their certification body to prepare for their audit.
The resource will include:
- an explanation of service user sampling – why it is important and why this approach is being used
- the role of the service provider and the certification body in developing and deciding on a service user sampling approach
- more detailed information on what service providers should provide to their certification body to determine a service user sample
- examples of ways to document service user information for certification bodies
- a quick reference of role and responsibilities in service user sampling.
The resource is planned for release later in 2008.
