About Funding Policy project
Project aims
The Queensland Government funds non-government service providers (often not-for-profit organisations and charities) to deliver community and disability services.
The community has high expectations service providers will demonstrate sound business practices and value for money in return for government funding.
Funding Policy (previously Fair Level of Funding Project) has investigated the cost of delivering community and disability services in Queensland and is developing a methodology for calculating the cost of service delivery in the future. The project is also developing a consistent and transparent funding policy for investing in service delivery though non-government organisations.
