Disability Councils
Disability Services Queensland has a strong partnership with the community through disability councils. The councils provide advice to the Minister for Disability Services on the views of Queensland's communities on disability issues.
Disability Services Queensland provides administrative support and works with the disability councils to identify and respond to disability issues at a regional and state-wide level.
The councils are part of the State Government's commitment to ensure a stronger voice for Queenslanders with a disability.
