2007 Shared Visions regional forums
The Shared Visions regional forums were an opportunity for people with an interest in disability to attend a free forum to showcase regional initiatives and work together to identify strengths and opportunities for the local disability sector. The results of the forums will inform the future of disability services in Queensland.
The forums were the next step in identifying positive strategies related to the themes identified and explored by delegates at the 2005 and 2006 statewide Shared Visions disability conferences. These themes include:
- supporting inclusive communities
- sustainable informal networks
- enhancing service provision through technology and collaboration
- emerging issues.
