2009 Shared Visions conference
The next statewide Shared Visions conference will be held on 2 and 3 April 2009 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Minister for Disability Services, Lindy Nelson-Carr has announced an ongoing Shared Visions initiative, consisting of a biennial statewide conferences with regional discussions, involving regional disability councils, to be held in alternate years.
A reference group has been formed to help plan for the 2009 Conference and shape the conference agenda. The program will be informed by themes emerging from the 2007 regional forum series, as well as other issues of importance to the sector.
