This calendar is a truly inspirational collection of stories from Queenslanders who are sharing not only their experience of living with a disability, but their triumphs and achievements as well.
Each story is a compelling picture of human resilience and courage.
By sharing these stories with others, we are encouraging people to open their eyes, hearts and minds to see beyond the disability.
I am especially grateful that so many Queenslanders have once again contributed to this project. It was difficult indeed to select 12 stories from the many submissions we received.
I am pleased to present the 2008 Share Your Story calendar and I am confident you will find these stories as moving and engaging as I have.
