Disability Services Queensland consumer satisfaction survey results 2004
The survey showed that 85% of service users and 73% of carers across Queensland were satisfied with the disability services they received.
Across the state of Queensland, 500 people from Government and Non-Government disability sectors were interviewed by telephone during November 2004.
The survey provided results according to the type of disability services received and showed the following:
- 92% of service users and 85% of carers were satisfied with accommodation support services.
- 87% of service users and 78% of carers were satisfied with accommodation (supported community living) services.
- 81% of service users and 65% of carers were satisfied with community support services.
- 85% of service users and 82% of carers were satisfied with respite services.
- 85% of service users and 74% of carers were satisfied with community access services.
- 81% of service users and 63% of carers were satisfied with local area coordination services.
- 75% of service users were satisfied with their quality of life.
- 87% of service users saw that disability services enhanced their environment and well being.
