Introduction

Providing Queenslanders with a disability with equitable access to information is an important priority for Disability Services Queensland (DSQ) and the state government.

Background

The right of people with a disability to access information is protected through the Queensland Disability Services Act 1992.

This discussion paper is a preliminary step in the development of a policy and guidelines on preparing information for people with a disability.
