Carer Action Plan 2006-10
The Queensland Government is committed to working in partnership with Queensland carers, to support them in the vital role they perform.
In 2003 the Queensland Government Carer Recognition Policy was released as a crucial first step in recognising the needs of carers.
The Queensland Government Carer Action Plan 2006–10 has now been released to take this commitment further. The plan sets out a series of actions that will help improve the lives of carers and the people they care for, and demonstrates how Queensland Government departments will work in partnership with carers.
