Building Supportive Communities Grants

Community organisations throughout Queensland will share in $200 000 to promote disability awareness and action during 2008.

Each year, the Building Supportive Communities Grants works to strengthen the ability of local communities and organisations to welcome and include people with a disability into everyday life.

Grants of up to $5,000 are available to support local activities, while grants of up to $15,000 are available to support activities that link a number of community initiatives or have a statewide focus.
