Queensland All Abilities Playground Project
All abilities playgrounds enable participation in play for children of all ages and abilities.
Sixteen new all abilities playgrounds are now under development across the state as part of the Queensland Government's All Abilities Playground Project — enabling participation in play.
The project recognises the fundamental importance of play in the health, wellbeing and learning of all children, regardless of their age or ability.
The new play spaces are being created by local governments in collaboration with the Department of Communities (Disability Services), local communities and industry specialists.
