Disability Action Week Award Winners 2009
The Disability Action Week Awards recognise individuals and organisations that have contributed to improving the quality of life for people with a disability in Queensland.
This year sees the introduction of a revised awards program in which 12 awards were presented across six new categories. The new categories recognise not only those individuals and organisation whose work is directly related to disability, but also individuals and community organisations that have chosen to include a disability focus within their wider role. This year the Minister also awarded an additional award for excellence.
