Multicultural Action Plans

In December 2004, the Queensland Government endorsed the new Multicultural Queensland - making a world of difference policy. This policy outlines four strategies, one of these strategies aims to change how activities of Queensland Government agencies are planned and delivered; ensuring all Queenslanders, regardless of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, have access to services.

One of the requirements within this strategy is for Queensland Government departments to develop annual multicultural action plans identifying key priorities and outcomes to be delivered.

Multicultural Action Plan 2007 – 2009

The Disability Services Queensland Multicultural Action Plan 2007–2009 represents our commitment to improve the responsiveness of services provided by the department to people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Underpinning each Multicultural Action Plan is our department’s Cultural Diversity Statement.
