Many of our staff work closely with children and adults with a disability, their families and carers, sharing their journey and personal milestones.
We also offer opportunities to work behind the scenes, developing policy, managing programs and funding and providing corporate support as part of a leading team within the human services sector.
With a workforce of more than 2,700 skilled and committed staff, Disability Services Queensland is a large organisation which is expanding further to address a broad range of service and policy issues.

Our services
Disability Services Queensland helps people with their families to access the support and services they progress through different stages of their life.
We support adults with a disability to lead fulfilling lives as part of the community. We help young people with a disability to make the transition from school to adult life and help them plan to achieve future goals. We also work to strengthen the capacity of families to care for family members with a disability.
Supporting service delivery
Disability Services Queensland develops and manages a range of innovative disability support programs to better meet the changing needs of Queenslanders with a disability.
We also provide funding to almost 300 non-government organisations so they can provide services to people with a disability and their families.
